FOOD BANK has been established in Southend for some time now.  We are pleased to be associated with it and we have continued to be grateful for gifts received.  There's a box just inside the front Welcome Area doors (accessible from the High Road) into which suitable goods can be placed.  The Welcome Area is open every day from 10am to 12noon.  Generally long-life foods, canned and dried goods are most acceptable.
The FOOD BANK is particularly in need of provisions at present.  Any help you can give will be appreciated.

Our own small food bank for those needing food supplies is adjacent to the front church garden.  Please take what you need and leave a donation if you can.

We are also a Reception Point for good used clothing and toiletries which are taken regularly to the Whitechapel Mission.  There is a box for such goods in the Welcome Area which is open as above.
